Body standardization in the fashion industry is problematic because it decreases equal representation of body sizes and forms, and it also contributes to greater amounts of waste. This is my practical and metaphorical answer to that reality. I created pattern of my own body, then designed and produced a custom dress form to insert my unique body type into the word of garment fabrication.
